Ceramic

My ceramic practice is rooted in hand-building as a slow, intuitive process where form is gradually freed from the clay. I approach each piece as a conversation between my hands and the material shaping, pressing, and assembling until the object reveals itself rather than being forced into a fixed outcome.

I’m drawn to the quiet beauty of daily life and the subtle variations that make objects feel human. Fingerprints, seams, soft edges, and uneven surfaces are left visible as traces of touch and time. Imperfection is central to my work I’m fascinated by cracks, warps, and asymmetries, seeing them as moments of honesty where the clay resists control and forms its own character.

Through hand-building, I work at a human pace, embracing irregularity, care, and unpredictability. The resulting forms feel intimate and gently uncovered objects that carry presence, process, and the beauty of becoming.
